Wouldn’t it be nice to just say, “Coffee. Black.”, and in a blaze of light and sparkles appears a mug of delicious steaming caffeine adrenaline. Well, the concept is already underway.

Admittedly, there are no voice commands. And the output of this “Replicator” is only a tiny piece of metal, but NASA is currently developing technology that can organize atoms in a predetermined pattern to create objects. Now that’s neat!

The prospects of this technology are extremely promising! You could manufacture nearly any material (whether it exists today or not) without the chemical byproducts that we currently deal with today.

It’s about time that technology takes a leap into the next millenium.
