Ok, I need to confess that I’ve been spying on everyone who’s coming to my site. Thanks to Google Analytics, I have been able to track the users of my site, and find some more information about you all.
However, I’m going to cut to the chase. Over 30% of you are on Internet Explorer (aka. Internet Exploder). This means that 30% of you aren’t experiencing all that web pages have to offer (this blog included). You’re effectively helping to kill the internet as we know it. The less people use IE (Internet Explorer), the less we cater to it, and help demolish the grasp it has upon the world wide web.
So here’s the steps you need to take:
- Choose a new internet browser. You know, that little “E” you click on to get on the internet. There’s plenty of other good ones out there. Here’s three good ones:
FireFox – Probably has the most technical support and is well known.
Safari – Not just for Mac’s anymore. It has a great look, feel, and performance.
Chrome – Google’s brainchild. Probably the fastest browser I’ve used in a long time. - Install your new browser. Just follow the directions provided. If you’re worried about loosing your bookmarks, don’t worry. All three of these have the ability to copy your bookmarks.
- Enjoy the web the way it was meant to be.
- Never use Internet Explorer again. (Trust me, you’re saving the internet.)
Thanks guys. I’ll keep spying on you, and I can’t wait to see how many people actually switch!
